Lots of assembly, but the parts are well engineered, robust and fit without stress. Instructions are logical and there were no missing parts. Once assembled, the unit worked flawlessly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Happy, but a few disappointments While I am overall happy with my Genesis S315 grill, I am somewhat disappointed when I compare it to my 23 year old Weber Genesis grill-both natural gas- that is still operating fine. First, the Flavor bars in the newer grill are thinner and less solid than the ones on my older grill, telling me that they will not retain heat in the same way. Next, both grills have 3 burners under the grates, but with my old grill, once I lit the first burner, I just needed to turn on the gas for the other two burners, and they would lite- with the new S315, you have to use the built in lighter or a match to light up each individual grill separately, which I find cumbersome. Next, my old grill came with porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates, but the newer one had stainless steel ones, and it cost me a whopping $130 to separately order the Weber porcelain coated cast cooking grates for this model.
