Simply replace the right side cooking grate with the WEBER CRAFTED Frame Kit, place the grillware in the frame and start cooking. Grillware pieces are interchangeable for endless versatility.
WEBER CRAFTED is custom-fit grillware. Check out our visual guide to make sure it’s compatible with your current grill.
Make sure you are installing your Grilling Basket on the right-hand side of your grill. With the burners off and the grill cool to the touch, remove the grate on the right.
Place your WEBER CRAFTED frame in the right-hand side of the grill. It should be positioned with the curved portions of the wire facing down. The WEBER logo should be toward the front of the grill and facing up.
The Grilling Basket handles should be facing to the left and right of the grill.
The Grilling Basket hooks fit over the inner part of the frame.
Place the spacer between the Grilling Basket and the front of the grill. Make sure that the spacer’s two large tabs are positioned toward the inside of the grill, closest to the grillware.
If you are still experiencing issues with the fit of your Grilling Basket, please contact customer support.
You will want to preheat the grill with the Grilling Basket in place for approximately 10-15 minutes.
It is dishwasher safe, however, we recommend handwashing using a mild detergent with a non-abrasive nylon brush or sponge to extend the life of your Grilling basket.
Not to worry, with usage, the color of the stainless-steel surface will begin to change. This is completely normal and will not change the cooking results.
After several uses, your Grilling Basket may build up some food residue. The steps below provide an effective method to remove it.
1.Remove as much food residue from your Grilling Basket as possible.
2.Combine three parts baking soda with one part water.
3.Thoroughly cover the Grilling Basket with the paste.
4.Leave the mixture on the Grilling Basket for a few hours or overnight.
5.Add more baking soda and scrub with a non-abrasive nylon brush or sponge.
6.Rinse clean and dry.
NOTE: For extra stubborn residue, pour vinegar over the paste just before scrubbing. Once the fizzing reaction dies down, scrub and rinse clean
