  • Completed step 50ml olive oil
  • Completed step 2 tbsp rub
  • Completed step 1 tbsp herb de provence
  • Completed step 200g potatoes
  • Completed step 25ml oil
  • Completed step 2 tbsp rub

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken, truss the chicken with butcher’s twine, securing the legs and wings
  • Skewer the trussed chicken on the rotisserie spit, securing it with the spit forks. If you do more than one chicken you just add to the spit.
  • Mix the rub with Herb de Provence.
  • Oil and rub the chicken – set aside.
  • Wash and dry the potatoes before cutting into smaller pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix the potatoes with oil and rub.
  • Add the potatoes to the Ceramic Grill Pan.
  • AT THE GRILL

  • Preheat the grill to 250 °C
  • Place the spit in the position on the grill, make sure that it can rotate.
  • Place the ceramic grill pan under the rotisserie so it can collect the juices while roasting
  • Turn on the rotisserie – let the chicken and potatoes cook for 75-90 mins, or until the chicken core temperature reaches 75 °C. The potatoes will be ready at the same time as the chicken.
  • Remove the spit with the chicken and the ceramic grill pan. Leave to rest before serving.
