Brazil’s national drink! This cocktail has a real zing thanks to the ginger, lime and mint leaves.
Squeeze lime wedges into a pitcher, putting the spent wedges in too.
Add the sugar and ginger and bash for a few minutes with the end of a wooden rolling pin.
Half fill the jug with crushed ice and bash again.
Pour in the Cachaça and stir well.
Taste it and add more sugar or lime if needed.
Fill up the jug with crushed ice, tear in mint leaves, give it a good stir and serve.
