Frequently Asked Questions

The number one question should always be about what you want to achieve – your cooking ambitions, lifestyle factors and household considerations. Of course, space is a factor - consider your outdoor space and the area you have to dedicate to a freestanding BBQ. Take note of the available space, jotting down the measurements (width and depth). Remember that a BBQ cook box should be at least 60 cm away from any structure.

A freestanding barbecue, or trolley barbecue, can be kept outdoors in between uses. If your barbecue is exposed to the weather, is near a pool, or you’re in proximity to the ocean, we highly recommend investing in a barbecue cover – explore the range here.

For regular cleaning, use a grill brush to clean down the hot grills after you’ve pre-heated your freestanding barbecue. Every few uses, it’s worth lifting your cooking grills and scraping down any food scraps or carbonated material into your grease management system and changing over your aluminium drip pan.
