Grilled Boneless Chicken Breast

Rub

  • Completed step 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • Completed step 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • Completed step ¾ teaspoon kosher salt

  • Completed step 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, each about 8 ounces

  • Prepare the grill for your grilled boneless chicken breast over direct cooking with medium heat 350° to 450°F).
    Prepare the grill for cooking over medium heat (400°F).
    Prepare the grill for direct cooking over medium heat (375° to 425°F).
  • Prepare your chicken breast seasoning in a small bowl and mix the rub ingredients. Lightly brush the chicken on both sides with oil and season evenly with the rub, pressing the spices into the meat.
  • Brush the cooking grates clean. Grill the chicken breasts over direct medium heat, with the lid closed, until the meat is firm to the touch and no longer pink in the center, 8 to 12 minutes, turning once or twice. Remove your now fully grilled boneless chicken breasts from the grill and let rest for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Grill the chicken breasts over direct medium heat, with the lid closed, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken registers 165°F, 8 to 12 minutes, turning once or twice.
