Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my spirit 11 3 burner I bought my new Weber in 2020 it’s now 2025 I decided it’s time for new grill grates they were showing signs of some rust and the flavor bars pretty much needed replacement also. Weber team looked up the serial number I had registered it when I bought and they were super nice about sending me replacements. After reading some of the reviews on these grates I do want to share some knowledge I acquired over the last 5 years of grilling and point out, my grates lasted me a good solid 4 years and breaking it out this year 2025 I noticed they we’re starting to rust. What I did over the years was to use stainless brush after I was down cooking while the grill was still hot, then I would spray the grates with avocado oil then let it cool and put cover on. My grill was always ready to use agian I would then heat and spray agian before cooking. I believe by spraying the grates prolonged and protected the grates from rusting. Just thought I’d share.
