Rated 1 out of 5 by from Says fits Summit but must destroy to install I wanted to order this to replace rusty magnets on my 10 year old Summit. Before doing so, I tried removing the existing magnets but it's impossible to do so without completing bending and tearing up the interior door hole in which the magnets are inserted. There's no way to remove the interior door panel to access the back of the magnets, which have clips that are activated when they're shoved into the hole. I corresponded with Weber and the customer service agent went back and forth several times with the tech team to find out how to replace these magnets in the Summit. The final answer was that "unfortunately, the procedure you are doing is the only one we know." He said that the only way to install new magnets without destroying the door (and thus not being able to replace the magnets) was to completely replace the doors. Those cost $143.39 for the left side and $146.25 for the right side before shipping and taxes. He offered me a 20% discount if I decided to go that route. Totally crazy that I would want to spend over $300 to replace two $8 magnets ... and it's even worse that the Weber website says these are compatible with the Summit and I've already damaged my doors. Weber needs to remove any reference to the Summit on this product page to keep others from experiencing this problem.
