Porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grates provide even heat distribution across the entire grilling surface and superior heat retention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Converted to Electric and Happy With reluctance I had to switch to electric (condo) but now I like it! The Q2400 is a nice size for 4 people, no more trips to petulant propane stores with a tank that "is out of date" and it is raining. Tip: you can start cooking sooner, but get it hot hot to burn off whatever you missed in cleaning it. I turn it off when I bring it in, but if they need "just a tad more" then it is easy to just turn it on again. I added a table from a big box store for the tools and a serving dish, and a plastic bin from another big box store to cover it from the elements. Nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Customer Service I have had several Weber Grills both gas and now, because where we live,Electric. We have had several parts go awry. Every time I called Weber Customer Service they walked me through step by step to diagnose the problem. They then sent a replacement part for free and I was able to extend my grills life. That is why I have stuck with Weber for the past 20years and will continue to do so!!!!
