I love the look on Weber fanatic’s faces when someone says that they are putting their grills away for the winter. Their chests puff up with pride and a giant knowing grin crosses their face as they proudly proclaim, “my Weber runs 365 days a year.”
To ensure you keep the flames lit during the winter months, there are a few things to remember:
Keep a lid on it! Each time you lift that lid you lose valuable heat and will increase your cooking time, thus drying out that beautiful steak or burger.
Add time. If you are cooking for longer times, it will take a bit longer to slow smoke so make sure you don't leave your company waiting!
Mittens are NOT the same thing as heat resistant gloves. Make sure you are well covered.
