Rated 2 out of 5 by from Restrictive & Heafty I know it is difficult to think: handle in the lid middle so you can pick the lid up & baste.check/add liquid - - OR - - use the lid as a griddle, with handles on the side such as this model. Big question to think about. But, overall, this is way too heavy. I ended up purchasing from LODGE, out of Kentucky, and they have sales upon occasion, Lifetime guarantee.
