Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design flaw We have been relatively happy with our Spirit grill but the GBS insert is clearly not made to the same specifications as the outer grates. Ours broke in half while cleaning after being so compromised by flaking of the outer materials and rust while the other grates are like new after 5 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke during cleaning This was our first experience with Weber gas grills and it was disappointing. We’ve replaced just about everything on this grill. The last straw was when this insert broke while cleaning. The cost to replace it is more than my grill is worth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expected More Just like others, my insert broke and find the cost to replace rediculous. A cast Iron grate should last more thn 5 years. Very disappointed in the terrible quality of this product. For the cost of a new grate (they may break in just a few years) I can invest in a better quality non Weber grill.
