Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design I install according to the instruction but the new igniter didn't work at all. I called for tech help and finally got through after a long wait. We did some troubleshooting and I ended up sanding the metal tip. This worked but you have to hit the igniter hard many many times for it to light. It is much easier to use a fireplace lighter. I blame the design. Weber should come up with something better than this as a replacement igniter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service I had some trouble with the igniter on my Weber Performer grill. The part that I ordered didn't solve the problem by itself. In dealing with customer service (Giovanna) we found that I needed an additional part. The whole process went smooth and I will continue to be happy with my 20+ year old Weber grill.
