In the kitchen:
Finely slice round cabbage and spring onions.
In a large mixing bowl, combine dashi, flour and eggs together and mix well.
Mix round cabbage, spring onions and flour mix- ture together and it is ready to be griddle.
At the barbecue:
Preheat grill to 200°C for 15 minutes with the lid down.
Wipe griddle with some cooking oil.
Spoon a quarter of mixture onto griddle and even out using a spatula. Then cook for 3 minutes on each side.
Serve on a plate, spread Okonomiyaki sauce/BBQ sauce, squeeze Japanese mayonnaise and sprinkle bonito flakes just before serve.
