We all love the simplicity of barbecuing. Using minimal ingredients and great produce, along with the magic of the flame and smoke, the food is always delicious. How can you turn the boring into the exciting? That’s where our new Cookbook, Weber’s Ultimate Barbecue can help. Introducing FLAVOUR BOMBS!

The idea of a flavour bomb is taking a simple dish, then adding a delicious topping, sauce, or mixing together a tasty ingredient combination. You can do this for a number of dishes including salmon fillets, pork chops, bruschetta, hamburgers, pizzas and more!

Here’s two delicious Flavour Bomb recipes brought to you by Weber’s Ultimate Barbecue:

Flavour Bomb your Asparagus with Parmesan Hot Sauce:

In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon of hot sauce (we recommend Frank’s Red Hot® or Sriracha) and ¼ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese. Spoon the sauce over grilled asparagus and serve.

Flavour Bomb your Scotch Fillet with Hoisin-Ginger Steak Sauce:

In a small saucepan heat 2 teaspoons of toasted sesame oil over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped, peeled, fresh ginger and cook for 45 seconds, stirring. Add 2/3 cup of hoisin sauce, 2 tablespoons of salt-reduced soy sauce, 5 teaspoons of seasoned rice vinegar and 1/3 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of thinly sliced spring onions, white and light green parts only. Spoon the sauce over warm steaks.

We encourage you to get creative, experimenting and developing your own flavour bomb combinations.
