You take the cover off your grill and what do you see, surface rust! No, the world is not going to end and yes we are here to help you. The good news is this is preventable and most of the time fixed with just a little TLC and maintenance.
At the first sign of staining, discoloration, or surface rust we recommend cleaning with a stainless steel cleaner, such as Noxon 7 to remove the rust, followed by the Weber Stainless Steel Polish to preserve the shine. Continue to use the stainless steel polish weekly to keep your grill looking its best. If you live in a coastal area or have your product located near a pool, maintenance includes regular washing and rinsing of the exterior surfaces as outlined in your accompanying Owner’s Guide.
The quicker you get at a stain the easier it will be to clean up. Do not let it go and say to yourself you will get around to it next weekend. Doing so will require a lot more elbow grease and possibly the consumption of more beverages.
