Swinton Park Cookery school

Swinton Park Cookery School is located on the Swinton Estate, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Housed in the ground floor of the converted Georgian stable wing, the school adjacent to the hotel. Light and airy throughout, the stylish décor is comfortable – a relaxed environment well disposed to the appreciation of good food and fine wine!

The demonstration kitchen has been designed to the highest specification with the latest appliances from Gaggenau, equipment from Kenwood and Thermomix and knives by Wusthof. The homely atmosphere is complemented by an Aga and Fired Earth tiles.

Both the demonstration kitchen and dining room overlook the castle turret and parkland, with shop and toilets close by and a preparation kitchen to the rear. The cookery school has its own entrance and is a very short walk across the drive from the hotel.A period Deerhouse in the parkland is also used as a delightful venue for barbecue courses, featuring a range of Weber grills, as well as alfresco lunches and dinners on several weekends through the summer.
