Ribs are great any time of the year. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, they are a fan favorite. In order to make sure your next slab turns out great, keep these tips in mind.
- Make sure you have a great barbecue rub. This will help with the delicious caramelization that you’ll experience with each and every bite. Learn more on making your own BBQ Rub here.
- Wrapping in foil is key. Make sure you wrap your ribs when they reach an internal temperature of 160-165 degrees. Be sure to wrap your ribs tightly to lock in all moisture and flavor while allowing the meat to tenderize during the grilling process. Also be sure to place the meat side down which helps baste the ribs and also not cut the foil.
- Once your ribs hit an internal temperature of 190 degrees, remove the foil and put them back on the grill for an additional 10-15 minutes. The time they spend on the grill during this step will help with their final color and appearance.
- Lastly, take your time and enjoy!
