Not only am I a Weber grilling enthusiast, but I’m also a dad of 2 little girls (7 and 3 years old) who love anything with cinnamon but especially sugar.  Prep time in the kitchen is a special time I share with my girls, and they have a lot of opinions about everything from what we grill to what ingredients will be used.

One of our favorite recipes to prep and grill is the Epic Snickerdoodle.

  1. Preheat the grill to medium indirect heat (350).
  2. We flatten out store bought cookie dough on a pizza stone.
  3. Then the girls strategically layout (also referred to as piling on) the caramels, marshmallows, and m&ms.

Followed by just what can only be described as a cinnamon downpour over everything.

Grill that baby up for about 20 minutes until golden brown, then the girls personalize it with Disney princess sprinkles and either icing or whip cream.  It looks crazy but folks are drawn to it, and we never have any left.

I've got cinnamon sticks currently on my grocery list, so I can smoke them and add even more flavor to the next doodle.  "That's too much cinnamon sugar," ...said no one ever.
