The Cookery School at The Grand, York – located in York’s finest hotel - has welcomed Marc Williams as its Cookery School Director. Hungry to share his passion for cooking, local produce and his unique culinary flair, Marc brings an exciting and fresh perspective on The Grand’s cookery school offering and classes.

Before embarking on his new challenge at The Grand, Marc was the Cookery School Head Tutor at Swinton Estate Cookery School where he spent four years of his career. Whilst there, Marc had the opportunity to adopt a ‘farm to fork’ approach in his cooking. Switching his country estate kitchen for a city centre location, Marc’s love of fresh and sustainable produce will be reflected in his classes at The Grand.

The Cookery School at The Grand, York boasts 16 state-of-the-art workstations and offers a range of classes designed with novices to aspiring chefs in mind, classes are inspired by cuisine from around the world. From express classes, to three-day courses The Cookery School is the perfect place to add to your culinary repertoire.
