Dustin Green is a leading grilling and BBQ expert, a passionate advocate for outdoor cooking, and a true authority on all things Weber. As Weber’s Head Grill Master and Director of the Weber Grill Academy and BBQ Experience, he combines decades of culinary expertise with an unwavering dedication to educating and inspiring grillers of all skill levels. Whether leading hands-on training sessions, developing world-class recipes, or sharing his knowledge through media appearances, Dustin’s mission is simple: to help people master their grills, explore bold flavors, and create memorable barbecue experiences that bring people together. 

Dustin’s culinary journey began at the University of Wisconsin - Stout and the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, where he refined his skills in classical cooking techniques, menu development, and kitchen leadership. With more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, he’s worked alongside top chefs in some of the world’s finest steakhouses and BBQ joints. Before transitioning to the retail side of Weber, Dustin spent five years as Senior Executive Chef at the Weber Grill Restaurant, where he perfected his craft in live-fire cooking before stepping into his current leadership role. 

With thousands of grilling hours under his belt, Green is sought after for his know-how in barbecue cooking. Green is also a crucial voice in product conception and development at Weber. He works alongside the product management and R&D teams to create innovative, high-performing grills and accessories. The insights and expertise honed over his career help ensure Weber owners experience the quality and strong functionality associated with Weber products. 

A Weber Kettle historian and avid collector, Dustin’s love for grilling started early—his first memories of barbecue involve cooking alongside his father on a classic black Weber kettle. That childhood passion evolved into a career that allows him to blend his deep culinary expertise with his love of outdoor cooking. His ability to deconstruct recipes, reimagine flavors, and translate complex dishes into approachable grill-friendly creations has made him an invaluable leader in the Weber community. 

Dustin has traveled the globe, educating people on all things Weber—from teaching backyard grillers the fundamentals of barbecue to training top chefs on advanced grilling and smoking techniques. His worldwide experience has given him a unique perspective on global grilling traditions, allowing him to bring fresh inspiration and innovative ideas to every meal cooked on a Weber. Through his work, he delivers world-class grilling experiences, ensuring that both beginners and seasoned pros can unlock the full potential of their grills and master the art of barbecue. 

When he’s not manning the flames, you’ll find Dustin experimenting with bold flavors, testing the latest Weber innovations, or simply enjoying a backyard cookout with friends and family.
