Meet Benjamin Alarie

Benjamin Alarie is a BBQ enthusiast. Period. This chef extraordinaire showed a passion for cooking from a very young age. While cooking with his mother, he used to say that he would wear a big white hat to cook for many people one day.

Staying true to his dream, Benajmin embarked on studies at the Institut de Tourisme et d'Hôtellerie du Québec in Montreal, first pursuing cooking followed by pastry making. Benjamin had the opportunity to work with passionate people in catering and restaurants in the greater Montreal area. It was during this time that Benjamin discovered his love of working with meats.

Fast forward several years, and Benjamin began travelling around Quebec holding cooking demonstrations and sharing his grilling tips and tricks. It was these talents that landed Benjamin a role at Weber Canada 7 years ago. Now Benjamin holds demonstrations and BBQ cooking classes on a regular basis. He also fires up a BBQ every day to test new Weber products and prepare what you see online. Truth be told, Benjamin just may be the biggest BBQ enthusiast we know!
