Rated 1 out of 5 by Tenniswiz from mr I bought a new Genesis S-315 this week and it was assembled by Ace Hardware. All I had to do is install the quick connect onto the 3/8 nipple from my prior Natural Gas Grill. Trying to tighten it to the nipple, the metal coupler broke and the flimsy other end also broke after inserting the hose into the quick connect.

When plugged into the quick disconnect, the little metal bar on the hose broke. Unable to even use the hose now because of this flimsy piece of metal. Now they want $80 for an entire new hose because that piece of metal on the quick disconnect broke? Insanity!

Rated 1 out of 5 by DTor87 from Awful design and quality! Just bought a Weber Slate Natural Gas 30 Inch. Went through the manual and saw when using the natural gas hose with quick disconnect that it required another 4 adapters for it to even work properly. Spent more money on those adapters and then when plugged in the little metal bar on the quick disconnect broke. Unable to even use the hose now because of this flimsy piece of metal. Can't grill for Memorial Day weekend as well. Now they want $80 for an entire new hose because that piece of metal on the quick disconnect broke? Insanity!
