Rated 5 out of 5 by from GO BIG OR GO HOME....to your Q300 I consider the Q300 some of the best engineering for a grill EVER! It is ultimately sustainable with replacement parts that restore it to first class operation. I have replaced the burners twice in the almost 20 years I have owned it. I also line the bottom with aluminum foil, shiny side up. It reflects the burner heat and I get to around 650 degrees in about 5 minutes. I also just leave it out, uncovered and the before pics I will try to post show the original paint has deteriorated. I got the inside of the cover sand blasted to remove 20 years worth of smoke and grease. Then, I repainted the lid, and I really like it...hope the folks at Weber don't get too disturbed with what I've done with their cooker. This is a great cooker, and I am very happy with the outcome. A great investment!!!
