Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth It Worth the additional cost over porcelain. The porcelain have ~2-3 year useful life before the coating releases and the steel is exposed and the rust process starts. SS grates are heavy duty, they are SS throughout and will not rust. Original grates are fine when you buy; but when they must be replaced; upgrade your grill; you won’t be disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice grates I replaced the cast iron grates with stainless on my Genesis II. I like that they're easy to clean. I also expect these to last a very long time. They are thick & heavy. Also, not related to the grate, but I needed some help from customer support. Awesome would not begin to describe the experience. Incredibly fast replies (10 minutes), and took care of what I needed.
