Rated 5 out of 5 by David-2nd in Command from Solution to sputtering flame I bought this Weber Q 1000 Gas Grill in June 2023 to use as we started to live full time in our motorhome. There are only 2 of use to cook for. This grill fit nicely in the storage area of the motor home along with a 25 pound bottle of propane. When I cook I pull the grill and tank out and connect them with a hose bought from Weber. The grill is quick and efficient. In November 2024 the grill started having problems igniting. I searched on-line and found tips on opening the valve on the propane tank and servicing the control valve on the grill and servicing the burner tube on the grill. I did all of this. I used the hose and tank on our 2 burner Coleman stove which worked fine. Then I borrowed a propane tank from another camper. In all cases the grill ignited intermittently - sometimes it was good, sometimes (more often as time went on) it did not. It would make a sputtering sound and the flame remained low and intermittent even when the control valve was set on high. I sent an email to Weber with all of this information and asked what they would suggest. The diagnosis was the regular was malfunctioning. They sent me a new regular at no cost. It arrived in a few days. Easy to replace. The grill has been working like it did when I first bought it - ignites easy and heats up fast. All good now. Thank you.
