Remove the circular grate insert and replace it with a griddle, poultry roaster, pizza stone, or any of the many Gourmet BBQ System inserts to choose from. The hinged grate makes it easy to add charcoal while grilling.

This one came missing the lid catcher hardware, four-weeks and still waiting. Each week I’ve gotten a ‘we consider this resolved’ email and need to push back till I actually get the missing parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would have been a 5 star if. This bbq is awesome. The only draw back is that there is no place to hook the grill when you take it out to light the charcoal. And the centre, although I like the idea. Constantly falls out. Other than that, great bbq!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Grill Experience with the Performer Just purchased the Weber Performer two days ago. It's a quality grill. I plan to store the grill in my garage to protect it from the elements. The steaks, burgers, and hot dogs cooked perfectly. I tried the direct and indirect heat grilling method after light the coals with a charcoal chimney. I highly recommend the charcoal chimney starter. The thermometer is accurate. The lid holder and foldable side table made the grilling experience easier. Clean up was a breeze the next day. Solid product.
