If you are still experiencing issues with the fit of your Glazed Baking Stone, please contact customer support.

You’ll want to preheat the grill for approximately 15-20 minutes with the Glazed Baking Stone in place. On gas grills, do not turn on your sear burner.

The Glazed Baking Stone is great for frozen pizza. Preheat your grill for approximately 10-15 minutes with the Glazed Baking Stone in place. Cook according to package instructions. NOTE: For thin crust, set burners on direct heat. For deep dish pizza, set burners on indirect heat.

The Glazed Baking Stone can withstand 750°F of even heat. It should not be used with the sear burner.

Can I use the Glazed Baking Stone in my oven?

It is safe to use the Glazed Baking Stone in your oven, but for best results we recommend using it with a compatible WEBER grill.

WEBER CRAFTED Pizza Stone is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stone It cracked in half in our oven after removing a pizza. So why 5 stars? Because Weber was surprised and is sending a warranty replacement. No hassle. And because our thin crust pizzas and sourdough bread turn out amazing after 10 minutes. A great product and great customer service is a 5 star combo!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Complete review you want to read the whole thing Although I live in Pittsburgh, I have been cooking on my grill almost every weekend for the past 25 years. About 4 years ago I upgraded to a Weber Genesis 400. Except for the rusty warming rack, I have been very pleased with it. I even use the side burner to make scrambled eggs on Saturday morning using my cast iron skillet. I also have been making homemade pizzas every Sunday for the past 20 years. After purchasing the Genesis 400 I realized that my grill gets hotter than my oven (650+ F vs. 500 F). I started making my pizzas on the grill. My makeshift pizza oven consists of a round 14 inch Williams-Sonoma pizza stone, a couple of fire bricks set on each side (if you use regular household bricks you end up with crunch pizza as they explode) and a cast iron griddle that came with my oven, placed over the stone on top of the bricks. I preheat the stone to about 600 F for about an hour’s time. I am quite happy with the results. When Weber came out with the “Weber Crafted” system it interested me but $350 for something I already had was hard to justify. I received a good bonus this year so I splurged. I have only had the system together for 3 weeks but I thought I would share my experience. Pros: The cooking grates seemed to be heavy duty much like the ones they are replacing. They fit in the grill perfectly with or without the Frame Kit. The “bars” of the grates are triangle shaped not round like my original ones. The first time I used them I had the flat side up. It left wide grill marks on the food and was hard to clean. The second time I used it I put the pointed side up. I had much better results, thin lines and a much easier cleanup. The instructions tell you to put the big grate on the right side of the grill. This may have been a deal breaker for me because of the way my makeshift oven is made (see above). Much to my delight the large grate along with the Frame Kit fit perfectly in the center of the grill. The Frame Kit fits as expected and supports the Pizza Stone as expected. It also seems to be heavy duty. The Pizza Stone is a heavy material with a smooth finish. It fits in perfectly over the frame kit. It heated up to 600 F with no problem. The pizza slid from the peel and back on without any problem. I am happy with the results. One more thing to note is that both the center grate and the stone store easily inside the base of the grill when not being used. Cons: The new grates replaced my 4 year old grates that are in great shape. It seems to be a waste to throw them away. If you desire to keep your Frame Kit shiny I suggest removing it before you put the large grate over it and grill. It took a half of a can of oven cleaner to get mine back to original. I chipped the corner off of the Pizza Stone the first time I used it. I was cleaning it in the sink and when I went to remove it I struck the granite counter top. My fault but it did not take much to damage it. The Stone is also hard to clean. Burnt cheese and course corn meal wiped off easily on my old stone. I had to use steel wool and (I can’t believe I did it) oven cleaner to clean the stains of the Weber product. On the bright side the stone looks new and I do not believe the smooth surface absorbed any of the harsh chemicals. I was also a little disappointed with the product delivery communication. I ordered all 3 parts directly from Weber’s website on Oct 14, 2024. On the 15 I received confirmation emails stating the grates and stone shipped. On the 18th my CC was billed for both items. I did not receive any other communication from Weber until the 28th when they sent an email saying the Frame shipped. I would like to have known that the Frame was delayed and Weber should have provided an expected delivery date.
