Grill the bacon rashers and bagels over direct medium heat, with the lid closed, for 2 to 4 minutes per side, until the bacon is crispy and the bagels are toasted. Remove the bacon and bagels from the barbecue.
To assemble, spread one half of the bagel with cream cheese, top with fresh tomato slices, season the tomato with salt and pepper, top with the crispy bacon, lettuce and avocado.
